Chapter One

Jessie paced up and down the hallway, waiting for her other friends to her there. She held her skate board in her hand, ready to speed off if the police showed up. They had always been on the run, from the police. But once they turned 14, thats when it all got worse. She went back to when she first met Cody and Jeff, it was a rainy day, and they both had hoodies on, like her. They walked up to her, and started talking, about their "gang." Little did she know, that her mothers green eyed girl would be living on the streets, living with two guys in less than a month from then.
She rubbed her hands together and dropped her board. They were already late for the competition, and she couldnt wait much longer. Thats when she saw them riding quickly from a distance. Unhappy with this, she knew what they had done, stole. She jumped on the board and rode off, going as fast as it would let her. She finally reached the stage, the audiance consisted of at least 200 hundred people.
Cody shoved the bag in his shoulder-bag, and walked up to Jessie with Jeff. "Sorry, were late. But were here. We had to..Umm.." His voice trailed off, knowing Jessie hated it when they stole. But he was saved as the announced came on saying, "We need Jessie, Cody and Jeff up here. NOW."
He grinned at her and jumped up on the stage, followed by Jeff. They both leaned down and pulled Jessie up onto the stage.
Jeff and them were known around here, they were amazing dancers, and everyone knew it. They were hard to beat, but easy to trust. He waited for the random song to come on, and they dance it out. Each time, a random song came on, he got a rush of exitement. Then it came on; Fire Burning.
Jeff didn't waste anytime, he and Cody jumped at the same time and landed on their knees. A painful, but yet smart move. He saw Jessie do her pop'n lock it move, part of the song. She kept moving, hardly stopping to breathe. He smiled and kept dancing. He got on his head, and spun around, around and around, until he couldnt anymore.
Jessie twirled to the ground and looked at the audience. Jessie was beautiful, with green eyes and brown hair, and she used it a lot. She put her leg out, and flipped back up. She threatened the other teams by spinning around quickly, and flicked the edge of her shirt, not scared. She smiled and twisted back to Jeff and Cody, who were ready. She stepped her feet into each of their hands, trusting them.
Jeff and Cody exchanged a small nodd and at the same time, threw Jessie up in the air. They both did a back handspring, and landed perfectly. Then both rushed back to where Jessie was close to landing. At the last second, they caught her. In the center of their arms.
Jessie flipped her hair back up and smiled, sweat dripping down her face.
